AprCalc provides a quick and easy way to
compare loan options. Enter any three figures - the amount financed,
payment term, interest rate, or payment amount - and AprCalc will
compute the fourth. Does amortizations for fixed, variable, biweekly,
and other types of mortgages, and payment schedules can be weekly,
biweekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, or annually. Annual and
per-payment subtotals can be easily displayed. Professional quality
printouts can be created, and registered users can customize the
program.
Scenarios can be saved in files and even password protected.
A variety of prepayment options let you compare effects on principal,
compute the amount necessary to shorten the term to a specified number
of payments, and more. You can calculate break-even dates for discount
points on mortgage loans to determine how long you'll need to own the
house to come out ahead.
You can attach notes to any scenario (or any
payment) for reference purposes, drag and drop files, and display
multiple copies for side-by-side comparison. Supports infinite
undo/redo and auto-save. Install/un-install is via InstallShield,
and a detailed help file is included.
